The GazettE's been my favourite j-rock band for the past few years, not only because of their good looks but because of the great music they produce. Ruki sings out pure emotions, while some other bands are shallow. Take Taion for example; the meaning of Taion is "body temperature". Ruki dedicated this song to Junko Furuta, a victim of rape and murder. She was tortured for 44 days before being lit on fire and dying of shock. The murder occured in 1988-1989 when Ruki was merely 6 years old but he still sang Taion with great emotion. There also songs like Guren; A baby yet to be borned, Filth in the Beauty; an incest between a father and daughter, and in his live while singing Miseinen, he always cries because it reflects the difficulties he had faced along the path, and also Reila, the name of his girlfriend who died. His songs always leave a tingling sensation in my chest, and that's what you call real music, real emotions. He reaches into the hearts of others.

Someone from youtube said this whilst listening to Bathroom: "The're enough JRock bands out there, with good looking guys and great music...but NO ONE else makes me feel like Ruki does with his lyrics and voice. There's so much sadness and pain I feel through a lot of songs but also hope and joy through others. He keeps me emotionally alive and I love him for that." And I absolutely agree with her/him. This band is really good at showing people how they feel, and showing the importance of the lyrics and the people they sing for.

They enjoy what they play too, giving their all in their lives. Kai once said that he hopes that the audience would become their sixth member and be as one with them.

They're a true band.
